Description:

Meissen figure of a fashionable lady wearing a fur stole and holding a muff. First modelled by Konrad Hentschel in 1906 using the new high-fired enamel paints developed at Meissen towards the end of the nineteenth century. These coloures fused into the glaze to create the soft, rich effects that are their distinctive feature.

An example is illustrated in 'Meissen Porcelain of the Art Nouveau Period ' by J.Just Illus.39.
