Description: |
Meissen group of a farmer leading two cows. First modelled by Otto Pilz in 1906. The decoration uses the high fired enamels introduced at Meissen towards the end of the nineteenth century. For an explanation of this technique see Meissen Porcelain Dogs 1875-1925 page 66. |
